01. “Timeless Tales by Mag”
“Timeless Tales by Mag,” captures the stories and spirit of seniors through visitations, conversation, listening, and shared moments. Before a shoot date is set, Magdalena spends time getting to know each person, recording their memories, and preserving them in their own words.
Through developed trust and friendship, she creates portraits that reflect their true character and vibrancy. Each story and image becomes a lasting celebration of a life well-lived.
Session Length: 4-7 hours (including travel time)

What You’ll Get: 50 edited digital images, suitable for internet & social media. As an added bonus – you’ll also receive a slideshow sampling of your images. *Prints, enlargements and framing are all available at an additional cost.

02. Family Documentary Photography

The best part of these sessions is their relaxed nature. All you need to do is be who you are with each other, in a setting that best suits your family lifestyle. Interact with your family, talk to each other, play games, have fun and interact in your surroundings while I capture all the special behind the scenes, precious moments of connection. Don’t look at the camera…look and interact with each other, and let the connection flow.
I’d seen some of Mag’s photos from friends and was impressed by the artistry and mood she captured. When my first child gave birth to my first grandchild, I remembered the baby pictures we had taken back then and knew we could do better.
To be clear, there was nothing wrong with the older photos, they were in focus and showed good expressions, but Mag’s photos show movement and emotion. You can see the love and joy between Mother and Child, Grandma and Baby, everyone and the dogs playing and showing their true selves because they’ve forgotten Mag is in the room clicking away.
We were at home, where Sammy was most comfortable. I wanted to clean up the room, but Mag said “relax”. She wanted to capture us being normal – with all the mess and chaos life with grandma, a baby and dogs included.
Mag is wonderfully cheerful, enthusiastic and accepting of interruptions. When Sammy needed a break, he got it. As a result, the usual tension and pressure to “look at the camera and smile” melted away. We’re not models with perfect faces and bodies but we’re real. The smiles are genuine, so are the other expressions because we were just playing.
That’s how Mag does documentary photography. She catches the moments when the light and shadows are right and somehow, she makes real people look perfect just the way they are.
